So the EPL had come to a dramatic close as it was the craziest season in years. Manchester City went on a run and won the title while on top of the table for only thirteen days! That is the shortest time a team has been on top and win the title. Manchester City did have help. Liverpool deciding to choke down the stretch helped. Liverpool relinquished a 3 goal lead to struggling Cardiff City. This lose pretty secured the title for Manchester City. The only way Liverpool could win is if Man City lose a game against West Ham and Aston Villa. The season had many surprises. Manchester United had their worst season in 15 years and Fulham was relegated. Manchester United has a fresh start as they can focus on the EPL next season and not the Champions League. Suarez and Sturridge had big seasons giving Liverpool a chance. All in all the EPL season was exciting and it will be fun next season.

Big day in the EPL as Chelsea stretched its lead on the league. It is now at 4 points as Arsenal loss to Stoke 1-0. Liverpool shutout Southampton and moved into second place on goal differential over Arsenal. Chelsea went to Fulham and won 3-1 on a Andre Shurlere. I butchered that name. Anyway, it was a great hat trick and there were also many goals. Suarez scored again and many others joined him. The Manchester clubs don't have any games this weekend for a unknown reason to me. Manchester City is happy with the results today as the can hop Arsenal if they win the next time they play. Newcastle got a needed win, but was covered up by Alan Parduie's head butt of a player. This is being reviewed by the FA and probably will come with a suspension for the manger and will be a story to keep your eye on.

It was a weekend of ups and downs in the EPL. Arsenal and Hull City both scored four goals in the process to big wins. Liverpool and Swansea City had a back in fourth game that resulted in seven goals. Liverpool won and kept pace with the league leaders. Manchester United picked up a needed win vs. Crystal Palace. Manchester City picked up a win to keep pace with Chelsea who won as well to stay atop the league. Chelsea has looked like a team that could beat any team. They have all the pieces to make a run for the UEFA Champions League title. They play Galatasary tomorrow in the Champions League. This will show if they can win with Drogba returning to face them. As the EPL goes on, the race gets heated and very competitive. A bottom table team will upset a team at the top soon. That would shake up the table greatly. Make sure you watch EPL on NBCSN and NBC for the action.

It was a busy week. The EPL had games so the FA Cup can go on. Two games were postponed due to weather. Chelsea is still atop as Arsenal tied Manchester United and Manchester city's game was postponed. West Brom had an amazing goal by Anchibe. It was an amazing header and was praised by the top of the table contenders. Manchester United has had a horrible year as they are in 8th place in the table which has gotten manger David Moyes some criticism. As a result of it, Nemaja Vidic is leaving at seasons and others may follow. This season has been a dreadful one and some fans are ready for a new manager already. There has been high expectations that haven't been met. But, when Sir Alex Ferguson started, he had a horrible season as well. Then he came and dominated for many seasons.

It was a make up weak in the EPL. It was a week to make up for the FA Cup. As the week went on there were surprises and denominations. Arsenal tying and losing the league lead and Chelsea tied when they had a chance to go ahead. Manchester City took advantage of the tie by blowing out Tottenham 5-1. In that game there was five different scorers for Manchester. They have the best team in Europe by a little margin. All of their players are world class. If you want to know if your favorite team is great or any team. You look at the team and see if u can distinguish the two best players on that team with out and argument from someone else. You can't do this with Manchester City. Most of the teams in the EPL you can do this. It is just astonishing how good they are vs. the big clubs, but when they play small clubs they have a very tough time against them. It just takes my mind off of how good they are and look at how the smaller teams play. The smaller teams are less confident so they play very defensive. The bigger teams are confident and play like they always do. That gives you something to think about. Thanks for reading and have a great week.

Sorry for the long wait I have had some stuff in the family goin on. The EPL has been very busy through the holidays. Each played about 7 games in a 3 week span. Arsenal is still at the top of the table and is barely leading Manchester City and Chelsea. Luis Suarez is leading the EPL with 22 goals which is 8 goals ahead of anyone in the EPL. Many teams have made moves in the January transfer window. The biggest that I know of is Juan Mata going to Manchester United for 37 million. There probably has been many moves that have happened, but they aren't at the same magnitude as Juan's. The biggest transfer in Europe hasn't happened yet. Robert Lewandoski will go to Bayern Munich in the Summer. This will be the biggest one this year unless there is a suprise move. EPL is the hottest and best league in Europe. It is the most competitive league.  The EPL will and always be the prominent league in the world. Thank you for reading this.

This week was a big week for the Premier League clubs in the UEFA Champions League tournament. All four clubs made it to the knockout stage of the Champions League. Chelsea and Manchester United won their group. Arsenal and Manchester City got second place in their groups. Manchester United and Chelsea had easier gross and were favored to easily make it to the knockout stages. Manchester City was expected to come out of its group, but not in first as Bayern Munich was in their group. Arsenal had the hardest group of anybody. Arsenal's group had Borussia Dortmund and Napoli in their group. Arsenal squeezed by on goal differential. These teams all have a chance to win the tournament. There chances mostly depends on who they draw in the first round. It could be Barcalona or a team in Zenit that only got six points and still made into the knockout stage. The Champions League is a fun and entertaining tournament in soccer. The draw is on December 16th. Circle that on your calendar if you care. See you later.
