This last weekend was the first week for the new EPL season. Many things happened on the first 3 days of the season. Last weekend there were 3 new teams that join the EPL this season. Crystal Palace, Hull City, and Cardiff City. Welcome to the league!! Also, this year the NBC network is showing a lot of the EPL games on both NBC and NBCSN. Finally, more soccer. Next week I'll start doing feature week for a team. I'll talk about transfers and news from that week. I will also do all transfers from any team if they are big transfers. Today I'm going to predict the league table at the end of the year and see how I do compared to the real table. Here is my table: 1. Manchester United 2. Chelsea 3. Manchester City 4. Arsenal 5. Everton 6. Tottenham 7. Liverpool 8. Newcastle 9. Norwich City 10. Fulham 11. Aston Villa 12. Stoke City 13. Southampton 14. Crystal Palace
15. West Brom 16. Swansea City 17.Sunderland 18. Hull City 19. West Ham 20. Cardiff City. That is my prediction for this up and coming season. If you have your own table email me it at ethanmanu@yahoo.com. Send me Your favorite team and I'll try to get as much about that team on my blog. Also, I'll cover UEFA Champions League and FA Cup. For people that don't what the champions league is; it is a Tournament for the top teams in all the top class leagues in Europe. The FA Cup is a tournament for all the teams in England. Last year the winner was Wigan. Wigan was the first team to ever win the FA Cup and be relegated from the EPL in the same season. Last years UEFA Champions League winner was Bayern Munich out of Germany. There have been many changes to the coaches this year in the EPL. The changes are: David Moyes-Manchester United, Manuel Pelligrini-Manchester City, and Jose Mourinho-Chelsea. Those are the bigger changes. Also, this year the EPL is using Goal Line Technology. This is cameras on the goal line that if referee has question about if it went in or not they can use to get the call right every time. They are the only league that actually uses this technology. FIFA,UEFA, and CONCACAF don't even have this technology in use yet. This Goal Line Technology is vital in todays game of soccer. The video below shows one of the worse disallowed goals ever. The referees completely missed the call. This video proves why all leagues and FIFA tournaments need to have Goal Line Technology. Thank you for reading this blog. I really appreciate suggestions and comments for my blog. See you later!!
